It's taking over my life to the point where I'll
have sex for an 8-ball...I want to stop this, but I feel like I

I am not a meth addict, but my daughter was. So I
really have no true knowledge of what it is like. All I can say
is that you need to get some help. You can break the cycle, you
can get better. You just need to want it bad enough to work like

If you really want to break the cycle you can it's
a long hard road, recovery is never easy, but you CAN do it. I
suggest you register and become a member and log on as often as
possible. Everyone on here has really good suggestions, advice
and words of encouragement.

Can you do what it takes? Do you want it bad enough?
You have to MARCH off that path you've stumbled on to. Reach for
higher ground.
You have to know that you are worthy. KNOW it.
The grass is way greener on the other side!!
Start with putting it down. How are you going to do that? Where
do you live? How will you get away from it?
What is your plan?

We ALL think we "can't", but we do it anyway.
We all feel alone also, even though we are'nt.
Our addiction thrives on seclusuion, secrecy and isolation.
Our recovery thrives on just the opposite.
Make the forum a habit, many amazing recoveries begin here.
Throughout these pages it is clear that we CAN

out my sister is a meth addict and I will be praying as hard for
you as I am for her.

Do you have any support? Is there anyone you can talk to? Anyone
who could give you a hug and tell you that you are worth much
more than whet this drug is reducing you to?
Consider yourself hugged and prayed for. I have half of our
county praying for my sister and I will add you to the list.

In the process of overcoming addiction, you learn
discipline, self-confidence, humility, appreciation, self-love,
and forgiveness.
We are the chosen ones to walk this path, and try to survive it.
you are a beautiful spirit...
..you have to over come this.
it's a piece of chemical hazardous waste and you are giving it
all this power...
it means nothing (as i sit here fighting my own addiction to it)
you have to put it in it's place.
.....it's never gonna be "yours" like your piece of mind will
be, when you quit.

I know that it will be hard, giving up meth was the
hardest thing I ever did. Nobody can make you do it, you have to
do it for yourself. If you want out that bad you CAN do it! It
is really hard and takes lots of work but it is possible.

have to feel alone in your addiction again.
First, my name is Lori and I was addicted to meth for 13 years.
I'm almost 50 years old and I'm almost 10 years clean.
When I was where you are at in your addiction, I truly believed
that the only way to quit was to die. I couldn't look at myself
in the mirror anymore, because I couldn't stand to see WHAT I
HAD BECOME. I was a wretch of a woman back then.
I'm going to tell you something that I learned and that I hope
you will come to learn, and SOON: We don't have to die to free
ourselves from our addiction. All we have to do is want to get
well. Is that what you want? Do you want to get well?
Thousands upon thousands of people kick this addiction on a
daily basis. It is definitely DO-able. YES, I'M NOT GOING TO LIE
TO YOU, IT IS HARD AS HELL, BUT IT CAN BE DONE.
Sweetheart, having sex for dope is opening up an even bigger
risk for you and your physical well being. I'm sure you know
this.
Is this who you always wanted to be when you were a little girl?
I don't think so. None of us wanted to turn into the person our
addiction turns us into. NONE OF US.
Come on and give it a try. If you want to get well, then you can
get well. We will show you the way out of the hell you are
living in.
Won't you give yourself that chance? Won't you give your future
that chance? There is life after meth, and it is HEAVEN compared
to the HELL of meth.
